No one in the school messes with this Slytherin if they know what’s good for them. He’s got a reputation as a thug and a brute, a violent bully that has no issues with punching you in the face if you so much as look at him wrong — he’s got quite the arm on him as well. Marcus Flint can be your best friend or he can be your enemy. If he deems you worthy, he’s fiercely loyal and very over protective. If he doesn’t, you could be in trouble. The thing is, he’s a dick. He’s ambitious, ruthless and cunning, all three traits that are very often shown on the Quidditch pitch. He sleeps around and he breaks hearts — and he enjoys it.

The odd foursome sat together around the dinner table. Their laughter had subsided for the moment and they were recollecting their thoughts. “Lavender, where did you get that ring?” Katie’s eyes were on the thin silver band with a rich ruby set in the middle of it. Smiling down at the ring then over to Gatsby “He gave it to me. For our anniversary. Two years.” Lavender’s eyes went from Gatsby then to Katie. “Dude, you got her a ring?” Flint’s unmistakable sarcasm was dripping from his voice. “You are so whipped.” His smirk spread as he looked over his mentor and best friend. “Me? I’m whipped. What about you? I believe I remember you nearly burning down your apartment trying to cook Katie dinner!”
Marcus stared at Gatsby with a look of death. Katie choked slightly on her drink “You did what?” She looked over at him with a  knowing smirk on her face. “Gatsby, please tell me more.” Gatsby grinned at Marcus as they still had their eyes locked. “For your last anniversary, I got a call from a very crazed Flint telling me that he needed my help cooking dinner. I went over there and he looked like Seamus Finnigan with all that black dust on his face!” Lavender let out a little laugh and Gatsby kept a large grin on his face. Katie couldn’t take her eyes off Marcus. “Thank you sweetie. I didn’t even know you tried.” She was being slightly sarcastic and Flint took a deep breath.
“You’re a dead man.”
